Real Stories, Real Progress
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Skipping Stones. Most parents who have children diagnosed experience that initial panic. They wonder about the next steps, the research involved, and the pros and cons of ABA. I was one of those parents. I did my research and found Tyler’s story and loved the reason behind Skipping Stones’ opening. I decided to take a chance, and it has turned out to be the best decision we’ve ever made.
My son started at Skipping Stones and initially had outbursts of behavior and difficulty following two-step instructions. Overall, he struggled with self-regulation. However, since joining Skipping Stones two years ago, I’ve witnessed remarkable growth in him. This growth is all thanks to the exceptional team you’ve curated. They understand him and when he needed breaks they allowed us to schedule those necessary time-offs for rest and reset.
The parent trainings provided us with valuable insights into ourselves and our son. Each meeting we had allowed us to set new goals, as he and his team consistently achieved them. It’s an incredible feeling to know that your child is cared for, understood, and allowed to be their true self. Without a doubt, I believe my son would have graduated from ABA with your team.
We are deeply saddened that we’ll be moving and wish we could take you all with us. I’m incredibly grateful to have found your team and the support you’ve provided us and my son. Thank you for empowering us to step out of our comfort zones and pursue our goals. You’ve given our family an incredible gift.
Thank you for all you do.
